Situated in the heart of Brussels and bathed in natural light, our stunning gallery is a unique setting where creativity meets elegance and historical heritage. We have two galleries and thanks to the diversity of our spaces, we can accommodate a range of events from intimate gatherings to standing events for up to 150 people.
Our flexible layout and multi-level break-out option with state-of-the-art facilities ensure that your event runs smoothly. Surrounded by the artwork of our professionally curated exhibitions, any event organised at Portraits International will be memorable.  You can also rent our space as a pop-up venue for your own exhibition.

Our experienced moderators run four types of intense tailor-made workshops for five to eight participants per company.

Professional development workshops

1) Gender equity 

In this workshop, company leadership and human resources officials will learn what gender equity means on two axes: structural (data, quota, targets, measures) and person-to-person (unconscious biases, presentation skills, non-verbal communication). How to promote diversity, equity, inclusion and well-being, avoid barriers that sabotage careers and release potential. How to meet the legal targets through a thorough understanding of both the policies and behavioural aspects. Participants will learn how to explain the concept to others and apply  lessons learned.
Content will be tailored to the state of play in your  company and sector concerned.

2) Making an impact

In this workshop, participants will learn what professional image entails, how to share the concept within their organisation to others and how to apply the lessons learned on a personal and team basis. Content will be tailored to the needs of your company with the aim to help release potential, raise inclusion and engagement. Mastering professional image thus becomes an integral part of your and your teams’ career strategy.

3) Effective lobbying

In this workshop, participants will learn the soft power side of lobbying, notably at EU level. How to prepare yourself. How to present your ideas, build lasting relations and stay ethical throughout.

4) Team building through art

In this workshop, participants will learn how art can contribute to team building, professional development and personal well-being. Participants will learn about inspiring artists and how to become more creative themselves in their daily work. Site visits can be part of the exercise.

Certificate testifying attendance

Participants receive a certificate testifying their  attendance. 

Certificate testifying acquired competence 

Participants may return to our premises within two months, to discuss with us their progress, the workshop assignment and self-study they did at home or at the workplace and sit a written (multiple-choice) and oral test (30-minute interview). The total learner effort (workshop attendance, assignments, self-study and tests) amounts to 25-30 hours (comparable to 1 ECTS).
